On Saturday, January 27, 2024, the Koyasan Temple’s Taiko Group had its first performance of 2024 by kicking off Lunar New Year celebrations at the Old Town Plaza in Elk Grove with The Creative Space. 20 performers played Kodama, Buchiasase Daiko, Worldwide Matsuri, Yatai bayashi and Hanami. The group had a fun time and the crowd was great and enjoyed the performance.
