The Gomagi, 護摩木, are the blessing sticks that get burned in the Goma Ritual.
The Gomagi are wooden sticks stamped with the sanskrit name of Fudo Myo’o, Your designated name and wish will be written on the Gomagi, which will be blessed at the Special Blessing Service and then cast into the fire.
The name and wish will be inscribed on a Gomagi for the Goma Ritual. There is no limit on the number of gomagi you can order, just increase the quantity and specify each new recipient and wish.
Please submit your orders within 48 hours of the upcoming Goma Ritual, so we can prepare the objects to be blessed. Orders placed after the deadline will be blessed at the next Goma Ritual. Thank you for understanding.
Please note: this item does not include any talisman, the gomagi are consumed by fire. Don’t forget to order your Goma Ritual Paper Omamori and Fudo Myo’o Wood Ofuda to get talismans to keep.
