Koyasan Spirit of Children Taiko Dan

Drumming is the sound of our past, and future!

Koyasan Spirit of Children Taiko

30 years and counting, the Koyasan Spirit of Children Taiko dan is a group of spirited individuals dedicated to the traditional drumming style of Japanese Taiko!

We have dozens of dedicated drummers who practice regularly for a variety of performances. Drumming is great for your physical and mental health, teaches timing, teamwork, and discipline, and fills your life with friendship and music.

Here’s a video of our recent performance from the Northern California Soy & Tofu Festival in Japantown, San Francisco
