On Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 1:30 pm (two weeks from this announcement), Reverend Coy will host a Goma Fire Ritual and ceremonial burning of the Soe Gomagi (wooden stick) with each person’s prayer/wish to the Buddha. If you wish to participate in the Goma Fire Ritual, you can order your Soe Gomagi wish sticks to cast into the flame.
You may also order paper ofuda or wooden talismans to be blessed in this ritual. There are order forms at the temple and in PDF form linked in the product pages below, but it’s quickest and easiest to place your order online!
Please complete your order no later than Saturday, September 27, 2025. Orders received the day of the ritual and later will be fulfilled at the following Goma ritual. We try to hold this ritual every few months.
