Our annual Toronagashi service and Picnic with lantern floating will be held at the Anne Rudin Peace Pond in William Land Park in Sacramento on Sunday, August 11th, with the picnic and Toronagashi starting at 5:00 pm, so come a little earlier. Following the service will be odori dancing, our taiko group performance, and the floating of the memorial lanterns on the pond.

For the Toronagashi dinner, you can either purchase a bento box (with the link below) or you may bring your own food. Light refreshments will be available on site. The bento boxes will be prepared by at the temple and are available for only $10 for either option. All bento boxes include main entree, rice, edamame, vegetable spring roll, and vegetable croquette.
